DEAR News of the Area,
SOCIAL media was abuzz last week following what many residents described as unusually heavy chem-trail activity over the Mid North Coast.
The sky was crisscrossed with persistent trails that gradually dispersed into a light silver-grey haze, obscuring much of the blue sky above.
It was the most extensive activity I have personally witnessed.
Numerous photographs were taken by local residents and widely shared across social media platforms, generating significant public discussion.
I believe we have moved beyond simply dismissing people who raise concerns about these activities as conspiracy theorists.
Public interest in weather modification and geoengineering has grown considerably, and discussions around these topics are becoming increasingly mainstream.
Attempts to belittle or ridicule those seeking answers are unlikely to be effective when many people have already informed themselves on the subject.
I believe weather modification and geoengineering programs have been discussed and researched for decades, and that governments are well aware of these activities.
Concerns have also been raised regarding the potential health and environmental impacts of chemicals associated with such programs.
Given the level of public interest and concern, I believe it is entirely reasonable to ask questions and seek clear, transparent answers.
To date, official explanations have often been perceived as dismissive, amounting to little more than assurances that there is “nothing to see here”.
Many are looking for a more detailed and evidence-based response.
Regards,
Rodney Fox.
