PORT Macquarie swimmers have achieved outstanding results at the Swimming North Coast Short Course Championships held in Grafton.
It was the first time the event had been held at the one venue since Swimming North Coast’s inception.
Twenty clubs competed over the two days with 199 competitors swimming across many events.
The club point score championship was hotly contested with Alstonville the winners, followed by Coffs Harbour in runners up, and Sawtell in third place.
Several Port Macquarie swimmers were age champions at the meet.

10yrs: Alexis Doak (Taree) and Harrison May (Coffs Harbour).
11yrs: Matilda Buchholz (Macksville) and Cody Kratzmann (Maclean).
12yrs: Jade Johnson (Port Macquarie) and Cohen McIlveen (Sawtell).
13yrs: Summer Sheehan (Alstonville) and Billy Covington (Coffs Harbour).
14yrs: Kimberly Graham (Macksville) and Darcy Clare (Alstonville).
15yrs: Bianca Harrison (Port Macquarie) and Elijah Mercy-Wilson (Alstonville).
16yrs Hayley Haworth (Sawtell) and Lawson King (Alstonville).
17yrs: Zara Phillips (Port Macquarie) and Will Hensley (Alstonville).

14years: Abbie Yourell (Alstonville) and Ben Burgess (Maclean).
MC Champions
12years: Storm Townsend (Sawtell) and Flynn Flaherty (Kingscliff).
