GYMNASTS at Port Macquarie PCYC have ended their first full year of competition with a swag of medals.
Forty-eight athletes, and their coaches, produced outstanding results at the PCYC State Championships in South Windsor on 15-16 November.
Club Manager Zac Campbell told News Of The Area that the team came home with multiple medals across all divisions.
“Super proud of Penny (Schubert) our Program Lead, our coaches, and our athletes on their success at PCYC State.”
The gymnasts competed across four disciplines: artistic gymnastics, TeamGym, FreeG and Tumbling.
An “incredible” cheer squad of family and friends joined the support crew in Sydney, sharing that everyone was now looking forward to the next chapter for PCYC Port Macquarie Gymnastics.
Workshops and squad trials will be held at the club in Owen Street Port Macquarie in January.
Anyone wanting to join the competitive program is encouraged to reach out to the club.
