THE Living Well Expo is set to return to the Laurieton United Services Club (LUSC) on Wednesday 18 June from 10am to 2pm.
With an impressive forty stalls the club will once again be transformed into a bustling hub of knowledge, support and community connection.
From health and wellbeing services through lifestyle, end of life planning and local support organisations, the Expo brings together a diverse range of providers all under one roof.
Event organiser Michelle Freeman from Simplicity Funerals, said the event continues to grow each year as more community groups and businesses come on board.
“The Expo is about creating connection and access for locals.
“It’s about bringing people together and making it easier for our community to access the support, services and information they may need at different stages of life,” Ms Freeman said.
“It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where people can ask questions, explore options and connect with local providers face-to-face.”
The Expo is proudly sponsored by LUSC and News Of The Area, who continue to support initiatives that bring the community together and highlight the wealth of services available across the Camden Haven region.
Adding to the atmosphere this year, visitors can expect interactive activities, games and plenty of opportunities to get involved throughout the day.
Many stallholders will also be running their own giveaways, creating an engaging and lively experience for those attending.
Shirley, a Camden Haven Local, highlighted the importance of events like the Living Well Expo for the local community.
“Events like these are so important for the community as more and more people are wanting to stay in their own homes. This day can help provide more in-home care, equipment and experiences,” she said.
The event is completely free for the community, and everyone is warmly invited to come along and make a day of it—whether staying for a short visit or spending the full morning exploring everything on offer.
From practical advice and services through to friendly conversations and new connections, the Living Well Expo continues to be a valuable opportunity for locals to access a true “room full of wealth and knowledge”.
