THE Mid Coast Careers Market makes its return at the Port Macquarie Race Club on Tuesday, 5 May.
The official opening is at 8.30am and the event will conclude at 2pm.
Open to the public at no charge, everyone is welcome to attend.
“The Mid Coast Careers Market is important in terms of raising the awareness and aspirations of young people about their careers and highlights the options available locally,” said Mid Coast Connect’s Denise Moore.
“The event connects young people to education/training providers, employment services, employers, apprenticeship/traineeship services, disability providers, government services, and other support services to help them make informed decisions about their future.”
This year fourteen high schools will participate in the Mid Coast Careers Market, bringing 1300 students and teachers from Kempsey through to Taree.
The event showcases locally available training and employment opportunities, with over 80 exhibitors bringing information and connections to a diverse range of careers.
