PORT Macquarie Hastings Council is inviting the community to kick off the festive season in style at the annual Christmas Fair.
A free, family-friendly event, the fair will transform the Town Square and Town Green precinct into a buzzing celebration filled with live entertainment, local markets, delicious food and more from 5-9pm on Friday, 5 December.
“The Christmas Fair is a highlight of our events calendar and a wonderful way to mark the start of the festive season,” Mayor Adam Roberts said.
“It brings our community together, supports local businesses and performers, and transforms the heart of Port Macquarie into a place of joy and connection for people of all ages.”
This year’s program promises roving performers, festive installations, and interactive activities.
Children will be delighted by special appearances from Santa Claus, with photo opportunities throughout the event.
The main stage will come alive with a stellar entertainment lineup, including a high-energy kids show, Christmas carols and the house band, showcases from local community groups and dance schools, and a crowd-pleasing cover band finale to wrap up the night.
