HASTINGS Community Radio 103.9 2Way FM has welcomed Carrie Wong as a presenter, known on air as “Garfield”.
Carrie lived in Hong Kong prior to moving to Australia and had long held an interest in broadcasting, undertaking industry courses and voice training.
Carrie left the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong some years ago to live in Brisbane, where she realised her dream and gained a position broadcasting on community radio.
Her next move was to the Mid North Coast, where she has joined the team at 2Way FM.
Her very popular program, Groove Along with Garfield, goes to air between 9.00-10.30am on Fridays.
“I love bringing different genres of music to everyone,” Carrie told NOTA.
”I hope you can relate to the idea that music can express everyone’s inner world.
”Music can accompany you at any time, taking your emotions to different realms.”
