YOUR local cinema, Majestic Cinemas Port Macquarie, is rolling out a summer season stacked with blockbusters, thrills and family friendly adventures, proving once again that the big screen is where summer fun truly comes alive.
From Boxing Day families can dive straight into fun with SpongeBob the Movie: The Search for SquarePants, as all your favourites from Bikini Bottom journey to the depths of the ocean on an adventure for all ages.
Also arriving on Boxing Day is the highly anticipated thriller The Housemaid, based on the bestselling novel by Freida McFadden and starring Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney, bringing a family’s dark secrets to the surface in a gripping edge of your seat mystery.
Action and comedy lovers won’t be left out either, with the release of Anaconda, starring fan favourites Jack Black and Paul Rudd, with sessions starting from Boxing Day.
It’s also finally time to return to the breathtaking world of Pandora with James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire & Ash, screening from 18 December.
These holidays also feature smash hits including Wicked: For Good, Zootopia 2 and Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.
From New Year’s Day, look out for Hugh Jackman in Song Sung Blue, as well as the colourful animated adventures based on the beloved children’s book, The Pout-Pout Fish.
