Bravehearts’ high tea fashion soiree

BRAVEHEARTS Mid North Coast is holding a High Tea Fashion Soiree on Saturday 9 May at the Port Macquarie Racecourse to support its work in preventing and treating child sexual abuse.

The nationwide charity runs programs for three to eight-year-olds.

Through “Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure”, local children are shown what to do if they feel threatened – including how to say “no”, how to run for help and who to run to.

The local branch was founded 11 years ago and has a committee of eight led by President Jenny Watts.

The high tea soiree is just before Mother’s Day and provides an opportunity for attendees to dress up in their favourite Bridgerton fashions.

There’ll be prizes for best costumes and other activities including tarot readings and a raffle.

Local boutiques Oasis of Elegance and Glasshouse Emporium will have models and fashions on parade throughout the afternoon tea.

Tickets are available on Humanitix by searching Bravehearts Mid North Coast.
